                                                             One-Word Grammar Lesson: The Best Fucking Word in the World
Lesson Plan
Time: 10-15 minutes (this includes time for discussion).
Level: 100- or 200-level college composition course.
Aim: A brief recap of basic grammar principles, using the appropriate form of one of the most versatile words in the English language.
Materials: Printed copies of the worksheet below, a pen or pencil.
Fill in the blanks using only the required form of the word in question:
1. (Adjective) I promise to read the ________ syllabus.
2. (Interjection) ________,  that was a tough pop-quiz!
3. (Verb – Past Participle Form) I would’ve been ________ if I hadn’t done the readings.
4. (Verb – Past Participle Form) If I forget to submit my assignment, I’ll be ________.
5. (Verb – Infinitive Form) I can ________ myself over by not reading the syllabus.
6. (Conjunction) I’m late for class; ________, I didn’t do my homework either.
7. (Adjective – Past Participle Form) Her grade is ________ if she misses more than five classes.
